Can't say enough good things about Jrods. Great work from a family business that is not involved in social media drama like many other Houston shops are involved in. They do not waste time and will let you know exactly what your car needs. I could not ask for a better experience, thank you Jr and team!

J-Rods Speed Shop is by far the best GM, Dodge/Mopar, and FORD performance shop in the Houston, TX area and in the State of Texas. Their customer service and communication is absolutely outstanding, and their work product and results speak for themselves. They built and tuned my 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1. It runs, drives, and performs like a stock ZL1 but makes 300+ more wheel horsepower. Cant say enough about JR (Manager), the shop, and their entire team. They have my car performance business from here on out - and I have been to 4 different shops before them. Trust me - they really are the most legit, honest, and trustworthy shop around. Terrible customer serviceDefinitely would not recommend. Borderline racist in my opinion and experience dealing with this shop.

I cant speak highly enough about Jr and team. I came in with an 08 Z06 that was making a ticking sound. The team diagnosed the problem immediately (lifter/camshaft failure). They saved my engine. We then worked together to not only repair these issues, but also upgrade key components (heads, cam, springs, guides, oil pump, timing chain, rocker trunions, catch can, plugs, wires, high-flow cats, etc.) before taking her to get dyno retuned, putting down just under 600hp to the wheels in the Texas heat of August. My vette has a sick chop, great parking lot manners, is smoother to drive normally, and can still gap most cars. I will use them for all work going forward and cant recommend them enough. My C6Z has gone to them twice. Originally for a h/c/i build then a trans/clutch swap. Both jobs were executed flawlessly and clean. If you are looking for a shop that will deliver a clean product on the first go around, j rods is the place to go.
