Talk about efficiency!! Lightening fast response time. I had a once beautiful Sweet Gum tree, that was looking a little worse for wear so I needed an expert to tell me what was going on with it. My husband called and spoke with Dalton [the owner], and Dalton came out first thing the next morning. I was able to share with him my concerns for my once beautiful Sweet Gum tree, as well as having him trim back my Chinese Pistache that was starting to run over the top of my neighbors house and into his satellite dish. Dalton reassured me that the decline of my Sweet Gum had nothing to do with me, but everything to do with the back-to-back freezes we've had over the last couple of years. He didn't sugar coat what I could expect, it wouldn't be the prettiest tree on the block, but he'd trim away the dead branches, and open up the interior by removing unnecessary limbs which would help air flow, sunlight, and supply nutrients to what was left of my tree to provide every chance of flourishing again. My tree may not be the prettiest girl at the ball right now - but she's symmetrical, and I'm hopeful by next year, she'll be full and lush again. Additionally, by clearing out the excess limbs, my grass below my tree can begin to see sunlight and grow again, as it was starting to become bare. Dalton didn't try to upsell me on fertilizers, root stimulator, etc [as other tree companies suggest], but instead he advised the pruning option first and see how it goes, then if needed we could look to the fertilization process. His crew was out the next day and did a wonderful job clearing out my lackluster Sweet Gum, and raised the canopy of my Chinese Pistache. His men were thorough and efficient, every cut limb was picked up and hauled off, and they even swept any remaining debris. I highly recommend the Urban Arborist!
