Dr. Horwitz is a highly skilled and knowledgeable sports Chiropractor. He is also a national champion weightlifter, so he understands the challenges of being an athlete. He has a great pair of healing hands. My only regret is I wish Iived closer.

I spoke with Dr. Horwitz about some serious issues that were concerning me. He very thoroughly reviewed my xrays & my symptoms, and provided a ton of valuable information, so I could make an informed choice for going forward. He also offered many suggestions for helpful exercises and supplementation, that would provide a good basis for maintaining improvements. What I am most grateful for, though, was the reassurance he gave me. When you fear the worst, it can not be overstated how comforting it is to hear from an expert, that it’s not as bad as you fear. Thank you, Doc. Xo

Dr. Horwitz has given me great strength training advice over the past year and a half. In a recent 30-minute teleconference he helped me with improvements to the setup and form for my bench press. I’ve been lifting weights on and off for more than 38 years, and now, with his help, I’m on my way to a new PR. I continue to be amazed at how much Dr. Horwitz has been able to help me accomplish in a relatively short period of time. I highly recommend.

Dr. Horowitz, whom I can't bring myself to call Steve though he insists upon it, has a methodical process, dictated by decades of experience. His analysis draws from: textbook knowledge, scientific-peer reviewed studies, and real-world/practical knowledge. Consuming details you may or may not think are relevant, analyzing, making connections. His affable and gregarious nature make connecting easy. He's down to earth, he listens - this isn't a one way "i know best. Don't you see all the letters following my name..." Type conversation. There is a mental, physical, and emotional probing to get at every potential variable that might be a contributing factor to the issue. He wants to know about you: diet, training, sleep, stress, recovery, supplementation -- not just the problem, but attendant issues that may exacerbate the issue. He's deeply empathetic, he wants you to be better. My issue was a stage 1 pec strain on bench coming out of the hole on heavy weight for reps. 405+.... The issue had been problematic for (4) years. I spoke w/world class power lifters, Dr.'s, Physical Therapists, all of whom were just wrong. I'm posted over seas and Doc and I had a lengthy Skype chat where we discussed the problem at length. At one point he had me stand, with my back to the camera and take my right hand and attempt to reach my shoulder blade. Searing pain in my shoulder. He had me do the other side as the injury did not favor one side. Same exact outcome. Searing pain. Shoulder mobility. He showed me numerous exercises i could do to mitigate the risk and increase my shoulder mobility. If i had the luxury of seeing him in person, every week for adjustments, I have no doubt my performance would be significantly better. He's that good. In summary, Doc has a depth of knowledge and practical expertise that is extremely rare. I've been weight lifting for 27 years. His personality and vibe bolster your resolve, confidence and gives you hope. He identified in minutes what other "experts" missed for years. I trust Doc implicitly and have zero reservations recommending him for anything related to bettering your performance, bettering you, treating your injury or advising you on anything related to how to taking your training to the next level. I am eternally grateful for Doc's time and commitment to helping me. Over the month since we have spoken, my comfort level with increased weight is significantly better and stable,i.e., his diagnosis and recommendations were spot on. For the 1st time in 4 years I feel great. I am in his debt.
