Had an appointment today at 9am and still sitting here put front and is currently 9:23am no one is here, no one called me to cancel my appointment and phone doesn't even ring. Don't count on this person showing up to do your lashes. I'd leave zero stars if I could

This was not a good experience for me. I usually do research before something new to me, but I have some family members that have been telling me to try lash extensions forever so I went ahead and did a Groupon for it here. They told me that once the lashes were in place it could take a little getting used to. It was my first time and I didnt know what to expect. When I came in she introduced herself and told me to lay back on the table. Then she asked what I wanted. I told her smaller to longer from the inside to the outside of my eyes and a more natural look. She then taped my lower lashes to my cheeks. There were no pads put between my skin and the tape. She was good about explaining each step she was doing and she was very a very sweet person. My eyes slightly burned as she worked on them but she said that was normal. She worked pretty quickly and it only took about an hour. When she was finished I looked in the mirror and it looked like I had two giant caterpillars on my face. My lashes were so long and heavy and there was nothing natural looking about them. I honestly didnt know what to say because I felt bad. She was so nice. I ended up giving her a tip and leaving. My eyes were immediately uncomfortable. However, remembering what my family members had told me I just figured it took some getting used to. I went home and tried to trim them up some and that seem to help because they were not so much in my sight line in the corners of my eyes. However I felt like I had to keep trying to re-curl them and hold them up above my sight line. The texture of the lashes were very thick. Im guessing theyre cheap. They were not as nice or lightweight as the ones that I have bought at the drugstore. They also did not look as natural. The next morning I did like waking up looking like I had some make up on but I was very uncomfortable and had not slept well. I left them alone all day but by that evening I just couldnt take it. My eyelids felt swollen and painful. I knew I was not having a allergic reaction, but upon feeling the lash line I realized I had a large globs of glue all the way across where my lashes were attached. This was where I decided to start reading online, which I shouldve done ahead of time. I found a blog by a licensed lash artist listing things to watch out for. One thing she stated was that the process should not take an hour but longer to have the lashes carefully placed. She also stated that a lot of lash artists will glue a bunch of lashes together on each lash at a time with globs of glue to save time and make it go faster. Thats not only puts undue pressure on the lash itself but also on the follicles that it pulls on. I felt like I had to get these things off my face immediately because it was painful and I didnt want to go through another night of bad sleep. I started looking up ways to remove them and landed on using coconut or olive oil. I had coconut oil so I started rubbing that in on the glue. It did help to loosen them somewhat but the glue was really strong and I had to pry them off. It was very painful and took over two hours and ripped out most of my natural lashes. When I was done my eyelids were even more swollen and it took three days for them to go down. Upon removing my lashes I saw exactly what the blog had spoke of. Clumps of lashes instead of individual lashes stuck to my natural lashes with big globs of glue. It took me a long time to decide to try the service because I did not want to pay for the upkeep but when I finally made the decision I was excited to be able to always have a nice looking lashes. At this point I dont ever want lash extensions again. I will stick with what God gave me and the occasional glue strip for special occasions. I also have learned my lesson now about wasting money on certain services that probably should not be purchased through Groupon. I decide to do this find a professional who has good reviews and does not need to be on Groupon to make a living. Hoping all my natural lashes grow back.

Absolutely loved this! Bought 2 groupons for lashes and makeup application for my daughter's 16th birthday and when we get there the woman got my daughter a huge balloon and birthday photos that she printed from her phone of the all dolled up birthday girl. I loved it! She worked with my schedule and was soo great at communicating with me. I will Definitely see her again!
