Upon our arrival: no hangers, burned out light in the bathroom, broken blinds, 1 trask bag (no refills), 1 roll of TP, 1/3 roll paper towels, no filters for the coffee maker. Swimming pool and hot tub uncleaned/unusable. We left a day early.

I spent my Spring Break here. Loved the atmosphere, clean rooms, and everything you need in the kitchen. And you can hand feed squirrels.

We like this spot and have stayed here 2 years in a row, both in a cabin and a motel room. Its a good option for the location and the selling point for us is the private pier and hot tub. (I have a shoulder injury so we book our lodging based on the availability of a hot tub or jacuzzi.) Plus, there are plenty of outdoor activities for the kids. My reason for 3 stars was the overall lack of monitoring conditions at the pool and common areas. In the evening the lights werent working and the hot tub was ice cold. Not to mention, a group of 5 or 6 unsupervised kids (under 12) were having a free for all and running all over the place screaming both in the hot tub (for hours), the pool and the club house area. Im a parent and I understand that kids will be kids, but by the end of the night it was to the point that my husband went out to the pool and asked them to get their parents. Rooms: Very clean. Nearby activities: Fishing. Boating. Bird Watching. Shopping Safety: None. Walkability: Easy to walk around the property. The only area you could face obstacles is the steep and narrow walkway to the fishing pier . Noteworthy details: One vehicle per room.
