Nonna's Italian Homemade Bread

Nonna's bread is so good, I can't wait to get some more! This time I got the Smokey Bacon Jalapeo Breakfast Bread, some croutons, a couple baguettes, but our favorite was the soft almond cookies, WOW! It's all so delicious! Thank you, Nonna!

My family stayed in Rockport over the Memorial Day weekend and had the pleasure of discovering this gem. Excellent sourdough bread with a great crust and crumb with that perfect texture. Toast slices on the grill rub with garlic and olive oil or just spread on some good Irish butter for a slice of heaven. She also makes some other wonderful Italian treats such as the lemon cookies in the image. The owner is the sweetest of ladies and was happy to discuss her baking methods and some challenges that the high humidity of Rockport has offered her. Be sure to call and place orders 24 hours in advance as good breads and other baked goods take time and love. Truly a place for those who enjoy great baked goods and Italian treats.

Best yeast bread youll ever find! We ordered the Smoky jalapeo bacon bread and it was to die for Plus a bonus were her dessert lemon cookies !!

I bought some whole grain sourdoigh bread form Nonnas at the Corpus downtown farmers market and it was amazing. Haven't had the opportunity to get back there and couldn't find whole grain sourdough anywhere else, so when I reached out to Nonna's, she made me two so I wouldn't run out! Sweet lady and delicious bread!
