I always have a positive experience with this court. The receptionist is awesome. And Judge Wagonner is understanding and patient.

Getting ahold of someone was impossible. The clerk told me I could email the judge to try and get defensive driving he took a second email a week later to finally respond. Then I mailed a check because it was for my daughter and what they dont take checks only money orders or cashiers checks. The fine was ridiculously high. And my daughter couldnt do defensive driving because She isnt listed on my insurance and is on her dads.

If you get a speeding ticket in Rockdale, good luck. If you call while their one employee is on the phone, you'll be met with a loud beeping and no indication that the line even works or when it will be open. The only solution is to call every 5 minutes hoping that nobody else is calling. The employee was very irritable and unhelpful. I'll admit that I have little experience with traffic tickets, but her attitude only made things more difficult. As other reviews mention, everything must be done by mail and they frown upon anything invented in the last few decades, like debit cards, email, call waiting, websites, etc.. Not to mention them requiring documents directly from the very insurance company that you are trying to avoid. The whole thing was a headache that lasted for several months and could be easily helped with any effort on their end.
