As I Real Estate investor I have worked with many contractors over the years and I can honestly say that the North Dallas California pool company has not only done impeccable work but the owner Jim Bellamy has shown to take much concern in seeing the project got finished on time with exceptional workmanship Service: Inground pool installation

Verify their reviews (like this) are Texas, not old Cali clients. I was hired to build CPDNs construction division as Proj. Coord., Austin was hired to be the Pro. Mgr. We both have construction experience, and I have run broad projects over $1.3M. I was to coordinate all construction, and develop the building division of CPDN. We were both made many promises of long-term success, and in Jims words, a Golden Umbrella when we sell the business in ten years. Also I was told I would not have to hide building code violations etc. as Mike is a Christian and we will use Christian Values. This too was not true. They did not fulfill promises to Austin one of which was to teach him to build pools. They left him supervising pool construction with no knowledge for a couple months. He considers this dishonest and resigned. I finished setting up the construction dept., computer system, tracking system, gathering and vetting (my) subs. and found a drafting and permit expediter (by referral). Once the building division was pretty much turnkey, they terminated me. They hired a new kid, very nice young, with only experience cleaning pools. J is being presented as a Supervisor/superintendent of construction, but has never run a job site or built a pool. Mike has little time to spend on a job site training, which is why Austin left. Fortunately, there are good building inspectors. Homeowners, hug your local building inspector, they are there to protect you from a bad contractor. Reputable local companies have a staff of competent, experienced pool builders to watch your entire build. Jim lives in CA and flies in to sell pools for a week or so and Mike is here opposite him but, during my employ, was too busy running his horse farm in Ohio, and only occasionally goes to spot check a project. There is no competent CPDN supervision of your pool build in their abscence. Roanoke: Mike overdug a pool that had extensive water infiltration coming in from behind a 9 retaining wall backed up to the next level of housing. At about 16 in, we had a ~2 GPM water flow for about 3 hours. He did not take heed, continued to dig. Ultimately, in a panic, he did an emergency backfill but against my warnings, used 3 stone instead of structural fill (flex base or select fill). That part of the yard is no longer useable. I felt bad for the customer and helped them with their water mitigation needs, but Mike and Jim refused to get involved, though Mike created the issue not heeding warnings. They do want to still build them a (much smaller) pool though if their yard dries up. Nice.Flower Mound: tried to get past installing a P-trap for drainage as required, hoping the inspector would not see it during the gas/P-trap inspection. That failed.Dallas: Mike and Jim dislike the customer, Mr. and Mrs. B. Mike always mocks Mrs. Bs voice in the office with an extremely loud and shrill voice. Not very Christian of him. He picked a verbal fight with Mr. B the day before gunit, demanding the next check a day early. Threatened to shut down the job. Mr. B had not had time to look over the change order. It got ugly, and Mike was a real non-Christian-like jerk that day.Trophy Club: Jim sold a 400K BTU pool/spa heater for a design for a customer. Upon my inspection of the site, I found they did not have gas service. I asked if we should tell the customer, who may want to change the design as an option. They said NO! We build it and they can deal with how to heat it later. They can get LPG service. That was 7/26. Maybe they dont want an 8 by 3 propane tank in their backyard? As Mike says, Pool Building is sleazy. I could go on, and they havent even completed a single pool yet. Lots of great, local, established pool builders in the metroplex. Choose wisely. 100% management turnover in the 1st 90 days! This is CPs second franchise, the last screwed a bunch of people! Services: Inground pool installation, Design, Custom Swimming pool design, Swimming pool water feature construction, Spa & hot tub installation
