La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Richmond-Sugarland

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I had such a horrible experience with this property. I was in the process of making a reservation for 5 rooms and called the property for a group rate for the dates I selected. I called more than 5 times to speak to a representative regarding this. The first time I called, they told me I need to speak to Peter and hes not in. The second time I called I finally got to speak to Peter and he said he will get back to me that day itself regarding my room rates. I never heard back from him and kept calling and kept getting told that hes going to call me back. Finally, as I called today I explained myself to the representative and to get the room rate, she said she was going to find out and hung up the call instead. She then tells me that Peter has given a rate of $107 per night when online was so much cheaper. She starts arguing with me over the phone and starts telling me how they are not going to provide me service and she is not going to take my reservation. This is the WORST hospitality and customer service you can receive from hotel management. I do not recommend anyone to stay here. I stayed here previously and there were issues with my room as well which I overlooked such as the shower being clogged, the room having a foul smell. The room next to me had an incident where the guy staying there was screaming and yelling all night and disrupted mine and my familys sleep. The hallways were smelling of marijuana which was another issue, that did not get taken care of. The breakfast area was also very unhygienic and not the cleanest. Their staff were walking around unbothered about how the area looked. The only reason I decided to stay here again was because of one staff that I met at the front desk the night I was checking in. She was so friendly and welcoming. I hope this hotel gets reported for unprofessionalism, poor hospitality and horrible customer service. It seems as if this property has no rules and regulations or proper management. I guess they just hire anyone and everyone that needs a job.

Claudia was an amazing host. We traveled 15 hours and she provided us with quick service. She informed us on breakfast, wifi access, and pool hours. Super helpful about what restaurants were in the area. Super kind. We would love to stay again when we are in the area

Peter is racist !! He claimed that i smoked in a NON SMOKING ROOM, he seen the inside of a cigar and assumed it was smoke. he then charged my card 225$,100$,50$, & 25 ill post them in a few. But anyhotel would knock on your door if you are so call smoking & i left at 11:17 am on MARCH 26,2024 ! Hes very rude then you ask whats his workers name he acts dumb. WORSE HOTEL EVER the restrooms not even clean to be that rude
