Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center in Cinco Ranch

Took my wife here two days ago for what we thought was a benign health problem. The wonderful staff here discovered a much more serious medical condition and handled it extremely professionally with a lot of compassion. They went above and beyond. We had a great experience.

The worst experience. They forced us to use insurance although I wanted to pay out of pocket with a discount. The usual bill for just talking to a doctor would be 300. We only spoke with the doctor for 5 minutes and got a bill for 1890$this is ridiculous

Terrible place. They forgot the ICARE valve of what Houston Methodist is all about. Took very weak wife of mine there. She not only wasn't better she ended up with both arms full of bruises due to poor skills of performing phlebotomy. They stuck her 4 times. The last needle stick I helped because of my experience. They also didn't use gloves to perform the phlebotomy. As we were leaving the front person yelled at us loud that we had to pay. Very embarrassing like we were criminal. We paid our due then we received a bill to pay more. We didn't complain because of their poor service but with the additional pay we had to show our displeasure. So we attempted to contact the site manager. She never called back so I had to contact the patient experience manager. She wasn't any better. Had to keep calling her to respond and find the outcome. My wife left with 2 arms bruised up looking like druggie person and wasn't feeling better. How can they treat you like this and expect you to pay for getting hurt. What a shame. They represent IDONOTCARE instead of ICARE.

I was seen almost immediately, had very good care, and only stayed a couple of hours before I was sent home

The nurse and doctor on shift that night saved my life. The doctor was especially quick and able to diagnose i had gone into septic shock when I arrived unconscious. Thank you for saving my life.
