I actually give this company zero stars. This was an absolute horrific company to deal with. Our household items were basically lost for a week so they were late while my pregnant wife, and two little kids and I waited in a empty house for our stuff. No phone calls, no reasons, basically a tough s*it. They later blamed it on a storm but the date of shipment departure was prior to the storm. I demanded to speak to the owner who happened to be out of the country on a vacation. Once I did, no apology, arrogance, and refused to compensate in some manner. Never never use this company. If you have any questions, I will gladly provide you copies of my letters / emails that I wrote them as proof. I even reported them to the BBB but Im sure nothing happened. With absolute hate for this company, I wish you good luck.

I wish I could give this company zero stars. First off the quote they gave us was off by about $2500 dollars once everything was packed. They did not show up on the day we requested and when the crew did show up late they didn't have enough boxes. We had to take them to the store to get more boxes. The two guys we had working, ( the third guy was hurt so he did nothing) were great and we fed them well and tipped them very well. They packed our stuff for the most part ok. They slacked at the end because they began to rush and they were drinking all of our beer. Once our stuff arrived the wrong day and we had to rush to get a storage unit the crew that showed up would only take cash. Trying to get that much cash on a Sunday was a nightmare. I have contacted the company numerous times trying to get some things replaced or fixed and to get money back because we paid for packing and unpacking which they didn't do. Do not use this company or and company associated with them like AAA moving and storage or any company out of Richardson because this scam family runs them.

This company is absolute garbage, they oversell you over the phone, and once they have your business it all goes downhill. Please don't get it confused, THEY are not a full service moving company, we recently moved from Texas to Colorado and used them, so we have FIRST HAND experience with this company. They use CHEAP temp labor (Labor Ready to be exact and none of our TEMPS spoke ENGLISH) to unload and unpack your items, numerous items were broken; this is where it gets even worse, we were then advised that the "full coverage" is actually $.60 per lb., which is NOTHING. They also billed us an extra 3% for using a credit card when it was them who asked for a credit card payment. BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS OF THIS COMPANY, do not make the mistake we made, this was an all-around HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NIKKI the sales person does a phenomenal job of selling you, YES SHE DOES, Stephanie who seems to be some kind of manager is probably the owner. They will give you every excuse in the book and put everything in fine print. Technically in Texas your word is bond, but they bank on the fact that most people will not even bother with the trouble of taking them to court or even dealing with them after the fact. Our items were due to arrive on Tuesday; we were then told (after having to track them down) that they have a 7 day window to deliver; who in their right mind would agree to this??? Again, NIKKI sold us on everything; they failed on all angles of their promises. We learned this the hard way and are to this day having to deal with getting refunded erroneous fees and working with CSI, their online insurance and claim center...I'm sure this will be yet another lengthy and drawn out process. Of course, why should Thrifty care; they got their money! We plan on contacting local Dallas media and the BBB as well. I'm sure they'll just change their names and reopen under a new entity. They did not even own their own trucks..I should've realized then that this company was shady, they pulled up in what looked like trucks purchased at an auction with cheap little stickers with their name on them.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! You all notice I'm not hiding, my real name is shown as is my face! This is real, this is a horrible company! Thank Social sites like Google that give us the opportunity to express and provide REAL feedback.
