UT Dallas Student Health Center

The staff at the Student Health Center have been so kind and understanding during the times that I have gone. I was able to get appointments on the same day after calling the center and explaining my symptoms. The providers that I have seen have been so kind and answered all of my questions during my appointments.

Id give 0 stars if I could. The staff is really unhelpful and rude. I was told I couldnt discuss ANY other health related issue and Id have to make another appointment to discuss other health concerns. I was referred to an external doctor and was told that the doctor would reach out to me. The doctor never did. The nurse refused to share the doctors details when I asked if I could go to the doctor directly. Dont waste your time here.

My friend got a scrape and we needed to see a doctor, when we got to the Student Health Center they opened a door and told us that they arent taking us since they got only 2 minutes before closing. When I said that my friend needed medical attention they gave us a bandaid and thats it.

Some staff is friendly and making appointments online is easy, but in general I haven't had the best experiences in their ability to solve an issue and in how I was treated as a patient. I've had better luck going to external places.
