Travelers

The discount they offered me after paying out of pocket for a new roof wasnt what they had initially promised me. So I got nothing out of it. I have this company for my Home owners insurance. Less than a year in I was threatened that if I didnt have my roof repaired they would not renew my insurance for the upcoming year. Keep in mind I had no leaks or issues. This was just based off of them looking at my roof. Had a few roofing companies come out and said my roof had no major damage that required it to be completely redone. Sent pictures and they still made me change my entire roof. $25k out of pocket. Funny how the roof wasnt a problem when we first purchased the home. My insurance broker said because too many people are making claims on roofs we all have to pay for it now. Sounds like the same excuse they gave for the rise of car insurance also. Insurance all together is a scam.

Stay away!! I was told damages caused by weather were covered so I proceeded with contractors to come in and fix everything just to find out only covered for mudslides, tsunami and basically if aliens were to crash into my home. Like seriously. Thank God he provided a way to pay our workers but after me and my loan officer laughed up a storm when I read what this dumb company DID cover.

The adjuster or his Supervisor would not return my calls for over a month. Cost me $9000 out of my pocket and never replaced my roof. Switching to USAA. GEICO did great with the Auto.

Absolute worst experience I have had the unfortunate luck to experience. My claim adjuster CHRISTIAN PERRY has done nothing but cause me frustration and issues. The first red flag was him FORGETTING to set up my pack out so when construction started, all my belongings were still in home and covered in dust. By the time he had the pack out company scheduled, it was already too late to move things around the work being done on the floors. Christian also gave me EXTREMELY incorrect time frames for expecting payments from Travelers. One item he said should take 3-5 days took 3 and a half WEEKS! When i need him he is unavailable or says to me "I am in the field, will call you after 12" BUT NEVER CALLS NOT ONE SINGLE TIME. I have to be the one to call consistently or I won't hear back. Not only has this guaranteed me to recommend ANYONE else besides Travelers, it has been my first time experiencing a home insurance claim, Unfortunately it is soured and spoiled by this terrible service.
