Zero Gravity Head Spa & Wellness

I booked an appointment for me and my mom because she was in town visiting. I was so excited for this because I saw numerous TikToks (from this head spa and others around the US) plus all of the positive reviews I read. I had high expectations but was pretty disappointed. First off, we booked the 60 min service which included a mini facial. The facial felt like I was being water boarded because the lady taking care of me was not being careful with how she got water on my face. She then got a huge drop of water in my ear which made jolt my head in order to get it out. Listen, I know things like that happen especially since were laying completely flat and getting water all over our heads. I wouldnt have cared that much until the session was over and I got up and the back of my sweater was completely soaked in water. She apologized and when she put me in the chair to start blow drying my hair, she haphazardly tried drying my sweater so I wasnt able to get the neck and shoulder massage that my mom got because she was busy drying my sweater. I was expecting this to be super soothing but the way she massaged my head was basically her just tapping it with her fingertips rapidly. I understand that theyre trying to clean your scalp so they can show you the after results with the camera, but during the before examination of my scalp, it showed little to no buildup or dead skin (not their fault that my scalp was already pretty clean, but you would think that they would try and make it relaxing knowing that I wasnt needing aggressive scrubbing). For $85 dollars a person, I expected so much more. The staff was kind to us and my mom enjoyed her experience (or maybe she didnt cause I booked it as a surprise for her and maybe she didnt want to hurt my feelings) but it felt like the staff was rushing and made it so the experience wasnt relaxing. It could just be this one staff member and I was the unlucky person that got her.

I actually found this location from a TikTok and it was definitely relaxing. Tracy was amazing and made sure I was comfortable at all times, along with ensuring I was aware at what step we were at in the process. It was a new experience and Ill definitely be making another visit.
