I am with Travelers for years. I had a little rock on the road that chipped my $35,000 car. So I got an estimate from David McDavid for $1,729.00. Aa soon they heard was a Travelers estimate, they reduced to 1/2 for real. The estimate went to $686.00. I decided to have it done with Carbodylab that comes to my house and the estimate is 1,168.00. They made a big deal because the "Itemized estimate should match McDavid's. It has been almost 60 days and I am tired. My deductible is 500 so they are making a big deal on 681.00 to fix my car. McDavid explaining to me that they have an agreement with Travelers and they are all done online, so they have to follow their prices online. That is why went to 1729.00 to 686.00. So I already started with Carlab. And I hope to receive a denial of my claim. I will never have my insurance with them again. They make big dela to pay. I am filing a complaint with TDI

I have this company for my Home owners insurance. Less than a year in I was threatened that if I didnt have my roof repaired they would not renew my insurance for the upcoming year. Keep in mind I had no leaks or issues. This was just based off of them looking at my roof. Had a few roofing companies come out and said my roof had no major damage that required it to be completely redone. Sent pictures and they still made me change my entire roof. $25k out of pocket. Funny how the roof wasnt a problem when we first purchased the home. My insurance broker said because too many people are making claims on roofs we all have to pay for it now. Sounds like the same excuse they gave for the rise of car insurance also. Insurance all together is a scam.
