They are so quick and sweet with the pup! Staff is very friendly and explain things throughly. Would highly recommend!

I have only been using this facility for a little over a year and I have so many positive things to say about EPMPH but I specifically want to applaud their staff..We unfortunately had to make a hard decision and chose to assist our sweet boy Ollie to cross the rainbow bridge. From start to finish we were met with complete honesty, expertise and absolute compassion with the staff. The second we brought him in we were in tears because we knew it was time and reception quickly comforted us with kind words and she quickly took him back to be examined. Our doctor was fantastic, gave her honest expertise, straight forward pricing and went through our treatment options, we decided all together that it was the best choice for him to cross the bridge, she was gentle with the euthanasia process and was overall a great doctor. The Doctor knew our financial difficulties and went over the best choices for our budget. Prices were always straight forward and I never felt surprised or pressured into certain cost. When we chose to decline a specific test we were not made to feel stupid or ashamed but met with understanding that finances were difficult. Although all the staff was wonderful I want to highlight specifically on our nurse Deandre. I have never experienced such amazing compassion and understanding from a staff member. Deandre was a short step behind us making sure we were comfortable and our boy was comfortable in his last moments. He was attentive and just a complete sweetheart. He gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye and even brought food (canned chicken) and water to our boy just in case he wanted one last meal. We mentioned we wish we would have brought a piece of chocolate for Ollie to try and Deandre walked to the back and grabbed a small piece of his personal chocolate as a goodbye treat (with our approval). Although our boy didnt eat it, it was the thought that meant the most to us. Deandre popped his head in the room every 30 minutes to make sure we were okay and gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, we never felt pressured or rushed on our goodbye time, he answered any questions and concerns and overall I could tell really felt a sadness for us. He is a five star vet tech/nurse, great at his job and was a pillar in our euthanasia journey. We chose to cremate Ollie and we received his remains within exactly a week. Communication with the front staff was superb. Overall the experience was emotionally difficult as to be expected but Im so glad we chose to get care at this facility. My family has used this vet since we moved to Murphy over 15 years ago. However since my last visit I will NEVER bring my dogs back here. The office staff lied to me over the phone about how much they charge for yearly checkups. The woman on the phone said it would be $175 for both dogs. When I came to pickup my dogs I was charged $500 for yearly check up, nail trim, and anal gland expression for my 2 dogs. Insane. The doctor never came to talk to me about my dogs and left it up to some office admin to explain what concerns they had for my dogs. She struggled and clearly didn't know what she was talking about, understandably not her fault considering she isn't a Veterinarian. I tried to explain to the girl that I was told a different amount and she said she couldn't do anything. I called a couple days later to speak with a manager and was welcomed with attitude by the man on the phone. He never apologized and did not attempt once to rectify the situation. He then tried to blame me for the communication issue and ended the conversation. DO NOT RECCOMEND, please take your fur babies somewhere else.

This review should've been written in 2022, but here we are. It's been 2 years and I still haven't forgotten how kind and caring this clinic was. I took my Chihuahua to this vet after she suffered an allergic reaction to a vaccine at our usual vet which had closed for the day. They got her in immediately, were very calm, and reassured me that everything would be fine. And it was! They didn't overcharge me for an emergency visit and I even remember the tech wrote my Chihuahua's name on the bag (Even with her little last name on it lol). I will never forget the kindness from this clinic and it's employees, 11/10 service!
