First of all, he offered to clean my ears, since they looked full of ear wax (I came in for nasal congestion but still). I was pleased, but later found out that the office charged $115 for that! Wow. I just got scammed. I shouldve just denied the offer and did it at home. Second, he didnt give me any advice/diagnosis I couldnt have found online. I already knew I had a deviated septum. I wanted to know if there were some issues that exacerbated my congestion, like perhaps turbinate hypertrophy, sinus infection, allergies, narrow sinus cavities. That would require endoscope of the nose and or a scan of the nose. But he merely looked up with his bare eyes and concluded that it was all just due to deviated septum. And for solutions, all he said was to take allergy meds, and perhaps septoplasty, without even testing for the other potential causes of my congestion. What if I needed MSE? Or turbinate reduction? I also expected a more thorough explanation of potential over the counter solutions. Maybe he knows something I dont, but he didnt make it clear to me.

I wish I could give this doctor zero stars. Horrible bedside manner. Never listened to me. I chose him because he was listed in D Magazine as one of the best doctors in Dallas. I didnt realize you could buy yourself that designation. What a crock.

Outstanding experience. Front office staff excellent! Dr Peskind was very thorough and explained my ear problems to me.
