Dr. Buch and his team are wonderful!! They are professional, knowledgeable and very personable. You will not feel like you are being talked down to, as I have experienced with other so-called orthopedic professionals in town.

My mother had a hip replacement surgery from the very beginning after the surgery was over they had negligence on their part of the hospitalsthe doctor has not reached out to her one time to check on her its been five months later and she still not able to walk without help has dropfoot and this doctor has not showed one inch of care for her. She was taken to the emergency room twice during his care never once did he reach out to her to this day he is still not reached out to her and to this day she is still not able to walk without help I would not refer him due to his lack of concern for her and that it was due to the surgery that she is in horrific pain and has no feel to her leg whatsoever

In 2000 Dr Buch replaced my femur and knee prosthetic implant (originally from 1990) and did a perfect job. When the implant started showing signs of wear I went back to him in 2021. I ended up with a major infection. Despite my concerns about swelling and redness he responded redness does not mean infection and just to have the wound drained as anyone would be able to do that he said. I consulted my first surgeon overseas as well as a dear friend and infectious disease specialist. He was really concerned and referred me to a top oncological orthopedic surgeon in Chicago. Upon arrival the doc said - 50-50 I can save that leg but in the end he did. He also found that Dr Buch failed to replace a worn out component of the implant which was one of the reasons for my visit to him. Once he was great IMO he has gotten sloppy.

Dr Buch has saved my life. Hes devoted to his profession. When other doctors wanted to amputate my right arm, Dr Buch saved it. Hes brilliant and innovated and Im living proof
