I can't recommend Dr. Denning and his staff enough. From my initial consultation to post surgery, they have been the best. Dr. Denning was very patient and understanding, making sure I fully understood the procedure and answered all my questions. I was very hesitant and scared about having a spinal fusion, but he and his staff made it a great experience.

I have been in pain for the past 20+ years. After a surgery in 2010 from a surgeon in the Seattle area that did not fix the problem and a catastrophic event to my nerve 5 years ago and my most recent pain from the same region in my back, I decided to get another surgery. Being new to the area (moved here this past summer) I was relegated to word of mouth and the internet. With much research I decided on Dr. Denning. What a good choice that was. He diagnosed my issues and performed surgery within a month's period of time. I came out of surgery (with tears in my eyes as I sat at the edge of my bed) with no pains whatsoever, and now three weeks later I am on the road to a full recovery. Not only is my doctor excellent at what he does but you can tell he genuinely cares for his patients. The office at which he practices out of is excellent as well. They are on time and very efficient at what they do.

Dr. Denning is my neurosurgeon which I have seen for lower back pain. I recently had acute pinched nerves in my L4-L5 spine preventing me from standing, walking, and sleeping. He advised me to go to Methodist Surgical Hospital in Addison. From the moment we walked in to the ER, was admitted, and discharged the following day, hospital staff was caring, knowledgeable, and absolutely amazing. Dr. Denning came in to discuss options and we moved forward with epidural spinal injections with later plans for a fusion. Dr. Denning is a pleasure to interact with. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and patiently answers all my questions. I have full faith in his abilities and feel confident we will get to permanent pain relief. We drive over an hour to see him and it is well worth the drive. I would highly recommend this neurosurgeon who you can trust with your life.

His staff was friendly, and engaging. Dr. Denning spent a lot of time going over my test results and discussing and explaining my options for treatment. I Would highly recommend Dr. Denning & his team!
