The Meatloaf lunch special, with 2-veggies and damn good iced tea, all for under $9, was pretty good. A classic diner with friendly wait staff.

First off: This is the ONLY review I have ever made towards any service or product online. I had an unforgettable experience @ the Chubby's on Parker rd. in Plano. My daughter ordered "Grilled chicken" which was not grilled, instead it must've been boiled. It was as white as a ghost and had an overwhelming butter taste to it. It was disgusting! My wife ordered spaghetti which wasn't awful, but Ragu/Prego tastes better (and it's cheaper). The garlic bread made me laugh. It was literally a hot dog bun that was toasted and smeared with butter and a tiny bit of garlic (powder(?)). I ordered a dish that was supposed to be "Louisiana inspired" (creole type) The menu said it would be served on a bed of rice and that it had chicken and sausage in it. Let me start by saying it was not creole flavored AT ALL! It was more along the lines of an Italian dish. (Full of tomatoes and not spicy) The amount of rice in "TOTAL" was approx. 3 Tbsp. And it was not a bed of rice, it was mixed in. There was maybe 4 pieces of chicken and 6 pieces of sausage. All the meat combined could've been eaten in three bites. I don't know what the burnt green stuff was, but it resembled rotten zucchini . And to top it off there were these slivers of something. They looked like almond slices. They were tasteless and HARD. I really did try to like it. I teach my kids not to take a bite and say "I don't like it" so I practice what I preach. I could only put maybe 8 bites of this garbage into my mouth before I just couldn't take it anymore. I will never eat here again, and I suggest no one else should either. It's your $$$ so it's your call, but you've been warned...

I was there the other night and ordered "GREEK" food and was so disappointed. the salad was out of a bag, iceberg lettuce and the dressing was no good. my kabob was ok. I asked the waitress for tzakziki sauce and she brought back sour cream with jalapenos cut up inside. I told her that that was not what i asked for, i thought she was confused she said that it was and it was good real Greek food. Well I am Greek and I know what and how to make proper food. If the owners are teaching there staff to make this crap then they are traitors to there country's food. I guess they assume Americans will not know and it probably is working. Also, the requirements to work there must be extremely easy because the staff is incompetent when it comes to proper etiquette and customer service.
