        Came here before for our anniversary and had a great time. Garlic Flatbread, bolognese, lobster fra diavolo. Food was great. Came again for my mother's birthday and not so much. Food did come out quick, appetizers were good but The server did not check on us after dropping our entrees even after he asked if we wanted fresh parm to which we said yes please. Never refilled our waters and seemed to be more attentive to other the other tables. My girlfriend got the bolognese again since she loved it but this time it tasted totally different. It had a heavy liquorice aftertaste as if someone just threw a handful of anise into it instead of a subtle hint. After 2 forkfulls we couldn't get the taste out of our mouth. Everything else was just OK. Would have really appreciated the fresh parm if he had come back to check on us.
