On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

This location used to be great but has been seriously lacking lately. I guess they forgot to make my daughter's food so my plate was dangerously hot from sitting under the heat lamp. The servers seemed very new and desperately need proper training but were generally nice at least. The manager was in the kitchen expediting the whole time despite us being the only ones in there.

1. Food was good. 2. Seems understaffed. 3. Odd placement of location. Seating feels off as well, especially for the booths. Patio was dirty and the chairs look unsafe but are fine.

I arrived shortly after they opened. Most employees are on their phones or chatting, not really expecting customers. Bartender who helped me had to yell door every time someone walked in because they didnt have anyone at the front to greet anyone. I ordered nachos and they left out the jalapeos and I had to wait on the bartender to finish making the only other persons drink before they would get my jalapeos. At this point there is like 5-10 employees and 2 customers. I ordered a Dos Equis dressed with salt and lime and each time the bartender gave me a beer that was overflowing because she mixed the salt with the beer. I really like on the border but this is another reason this restaurant is empty and the rest are full. Having the bartender yell door every time, just shows you the employees do not care or management is not present to have someone at the front door to greet people. I would suggest a management change up before I come back and give them more money. Also I order catering from this location for my office occasionally and they are never on time and often forget to bring the correct number of utensils and other items needed for catering to be successful.
