Clinical Pathology Laboratories (CPL) - Plano-Coit

Walked in at 9:30am on a Saturday morning and it was empty when we got there but within 10 minutes around 5 more people arrived to wait so definitely come early. The gentleman at the front desk handled my paperwork and he was also the phlebotomist to draw my blood after. He was serious at the front desk, but when we got to the blood drawing he was just amazing. I am so scared of pain and needles and he was kind, friendly, reassuring, making jokes and telling me it wouldnt be bad at all. Just such a warm and calming presence to put me at ease. He also was quick and skilled with the draw, I barely felt it compared to other places where it felt like I was actually being stabbed by the needle. Didnt get his name but if I had to get blood drawn again, Id come back specially to get it done by him!

Called to make an appointment for my daughter. When I told the receptionist which test is needed (multiple times), she responded with I'm sure we do. I explained I would need to know for sure, I don't want to waste their time nor mine. She was rude and said she can't stop what she is doing to confirm if they do the test or not. If you aren't able to give someone on the other end of the phone your full attention, it's probably better to place them on hold or even allow them to leave a voicemail.
