        Quality Inn West Plano is my go-to every time I'm in Dallas on business. The breakfast is so so, and the coffee is ho hum, but other than that, everything else is top notch! No bugs, excellent cleaning staff, rooms smell fresh and clean, quiet safe location, easy access to highway and everything in a short vicinity. This is hands down my hotel of choice when in Dallas. Yes, you get the idiots who cannot use their brains to stop smoking weed - that is in every hotel now unfortunately! But the staff WILL put an end to that nonsense if you let them know. They don't tolerate the weed addicts. I highly recommend this hotel, and I've been here just myself, and also my wife has accompanied me on a few occasions and she loves the hotel as well.

        This was a last minute schedule change and I ended up booking this location. My mistake. First thing that I noticed after parking was a 'No Pets Allowed" sign on the door and immediately to the right of the sign, a large Black cat was sitting in the window looking at me. The room was dingy, stains on the curtain, dirt in the corners by the tub and ring around the toilet floor. Lastly and most troubling, the shear rudeness! I asked if the juice machine was operable and a gentleman, who was behind the desk speaking to the attendant, stated - It's NOT working without even turning around to address me properly. I assumed this person was either the Manager or Owner, either way, the fact of speaking to someone with their back turned is egregious enough! I would avoid this place at all cost, in my opinion...

        The hall way on first floor smelled of Marijuana about half way down. Room could use some help, paint in bathroom looks bad, room smelled a bit musty, better cleaning overall. At around 5:00am the fire alarm went off for about 10 minutes before turned off. No one explained, no staff offered help, or said a single word. Of course not sleeping any longer being woke up by such a loud bad noise.
