Staybridge Suites Plano - Legacy West Area, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was really nice. The room that we had had plenty of room and it wasn't that bad. I definitely lied the morning breakfast a lot. Rooms: The room was really nice.

First this is a pricey place to say, but would be considered worth it if several factors were improved. Firstly the rooms are clean and that is a huge factor in staying in such a place. But with that being said, the breakfast is not of high-quality. There were two situations that happened while we were there. One was the occupants in the room above us were very loud and upon asking the front desk about reminding them to consider that there are people below, they were not speaking to them or they did not listen. The other situation was was actually more serious, I took my grandson that is 6 years old to the pool, about 5:30 in the evening, there were no other patrons there except a couple maybe in their 40s, and they were in the hot tub with obviously a Bluetooth speaker playing r&b music loudly, and we're being very touchy feely in the hot tub. I thought once we arrived that they would get out and turn the music down and be courteous enough that we didn't have to see the pda. But they did notand it was embarrassing enough, that I took my grandson out of the pool area which is an indoor pool, and he missed out on enjoying the pool that we had paid to be able to use. I went to the front desk working there, she stated people are allowed to have music at the pool. Lastly I went down to the pool with my grandson the next night, and was surprised to see 6 or 7 children under the age of 12, in the hot pool and there was a girl about 14 or 15 sitting in a chair scrolling on her phone. These children had taken the life preservers off the wall and we're jumping off the side of the pool in them and one of them went over and turned the emergency alarm on for the hot tub and it was beeping really loudly and flashing. There was no adult. I then called the front desk and asked for a maintenance person to come down and turn the alarm off and by the way one of the children was about 4 years old that was in that hot tub. the person at the desk said there was no maintenance man in the building and that she would come down, I was assuming that she would come down and enforce the rule that is written on the wall on a sign that says no children without adult supervision. But she did not, she came into the room area and turn the alarm off looked over at the children in the hot tub without adult supervision and walked out, once again I took my grandson out of the pool area and went back up to our room without the enjoyment of getting to use the pool.
