Just because it doesn’t Let me give zero stars.. family member has been in hospital for 3 weeks and is waiting for this hospital to open one but the keep giving them to other people.

My father 86 years young had quadruple bypass surgery here. While he was scared (I was terrified). But my concerns were proven unfounded other than loosing sleep over nothing. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE #1 HOSPITAL IN PLANO. And I’ve sadly seen my fair share with back, knee, 4-heart surgeries along with others. The entire experience at Baylor Heart Hospital is a level above anything I’ve ever seen. The doctors ALL overlap & interact in a magical way. My father came through fine. Went through rehab then on to my home. He’s doing fine now and there is no slowing him down. THANK YOU ALL - BAYLOR HEART HOSPITAL.

My husband went into cardiac arrest, he was down for 11 minutes and they revived him and placed him on ECMO, a few days later Impella, a few weeks later he had an LVAD implant. I walked in the room when they were reviving him, I was so scared, Dr. Allen pulled male aside and calmed. The high risk team came and spoke with me, explained in detail how sever he was and what they wanted to do. He spent a week on life support and a vent, every day and every night doctors and nurses explained, reassured, educated and listened. We have been here 28 days, looking to leave in a few. My husband now runs off of a battery. He is alive, I can laugh and talk to him where a month ago I didn’t know if I would ever get to speak to him again, they saved his life and they have held my hand all the way through it. Dr. George is an amazing surgeon, Dr. Asfal and the heart failure team are amazing and kind, the nurses, techs, PT, RRT, LVAD coordinators, dietitian, physiatrist, CSR workers, housekeeping and concierge stop me in the halls and ask how he is doing, they know my name and chat during the day, they treat you like family and will forever be our family. I will forever be grateful for the care they provided, the dedication they have for the job and their patients and for giving me my husband back.
