So I got laid off from my job and decided to immediately move up my payment due date. I called them so they could guide me through the steps. I followed the steps and submitted it successfully. 2 days later they were sending me notifications that my payment was past due. So I called to tell them that I had changed my due date, and they claimed that they did not have any proof. I am very upset with capital one.

Ive been trying to finish my refinancing process for over TWO years now! Always an excuse or new story as to why there is a hold up. Lost documents with no tracking number, claims of DMV losing the paperwork with no record or the most recent was I never actually sent the documents in the first place! Currently waiting over a month for the back office to call my previous lender for a notarized lien release. Im beginning to think this back office is like the tooth fairy and nonexistent. I dont ever leave reviews but this type of customer service is completely unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and use another company.

I honestly don't understand why there are so many bad reviews. From what I can tell, it looks like people didn't read the fine print when signing their loan agreements or became irate with customer service. I have financed 3 vehicles with capital one and I have NEVER had an issue. I have also never had an issue when calling in. Each time I have paid off or sold my vehicle financed with cap one, I always got the title and always got my money back if I overpaid. I am currently 3 years into my 5 year loan and no issues with this loan either. Can't wait to pay this one off and get another loan through them for another vehicle.
