After multiple red flags and making concessions for ease of location, I will not go to this location any longer. There are plenty of Ulta locations that treat their customers well. The star is for this Plano location pickup option. One disappointing aspect of this location is that customers can hear the employees gossip. There is truth to both positive and negative reviews for this particular store.

Went to Ulta today to get my birthday gift. They would not give it to me because they said Ulta has to send me an email for my birthday gift. I assured them I have not gotten an email I rechecked my spam folder. I checked my inbox and I kept telling them ulta never sent me a birthday email but you can tell its my birthday I can prove its my birthday and every previous year Ive never had to show an email and they still refuse to give me my birthday gift so I went to Sephora got my birthday gift and will only be shopping at Sephora now and will not be going back to Ulta.

Sylvia in the hair salon and Michelle with Juice Beauty are the best beauty consultants I have ever met! I stopped by on my way to meet friends for dinner. Was feeling really down on myself. After these ladies worked their hair and makeup magic on me, I was feeling like a completely different person. Can't thank both of these wonderful ladies enough and I will absolutely be back.

I dont write reviews much but felt this had to be addressed. I went in today to the Ulta at 75/ North Central Exwy to see if I could return a perfume I received as a gift. The cashier named Aurora asked for my number and I gave it to her but I told her I dont have the receipt since it was a gift. She automatically got rude and said she cant return it unless I have that persons name and number. I told her I didnt have it and she said well you cant return it at this point she was getting really confrontational. I told her on the Ulta website it states you can return it without receipt (See return policy below). I told her are you sure and she kept saying I am so sure I can even ask the manager and she will tell you the same thing. I told her I want to try- meaning I want to talk to a manager but she told me she would just tell me the same thing. Finally, she turns around with an attitude and asked the manager which the manager was literally a few steps behind her. She told the manager with an attitude the issue and the manager told me that I could return it but it will refund at the lowest selling price which I was fine if the price was within reason. If the amount would have been a few cents then I would have just kept it. The manager was not rude and I was able to get another perfume I wanted without a problem. My issue is Aurora, how can she talk to customers like that and not get trained on policies or how to deal with situation like this one without being rude and conformational? I was completely nice to Aurora throughout the whole process and chose not to get down to her level. I work retail as well and you do not talk to customers like they are below you and act all confrontational. Ulta, please train your employees better. ULTA RETURN POLICY: If you are unable to return the product with its receipt and we are unable to verify the original purchase price of the product, your refund will be in the form of an in-store credit equal to the lowest selling price at which the product was sold by Ulta Beauty during the 90-day period preceding the return. Guests will be asked to provide a valid government issued ID (i.e. driver's license, state or military ID).
