one of the worst schools i've had the displeasure of attending . there seemed to be (from my perspective) only 4 staff members who genuinely enjoyed their job & were good people who cared for the students, which includes, 2 teachers, 1 substitute, & 1 security guard . i'll list just some of the experiences i've had here . (mind you i only attended ONE year) -1. majority of the teachers are extremely lazy & disconnected. they sit in their desk for the entirety of the class in complete silence(45mins-2hrs), while students are expected to complete their work online at their desk in silence with very vague instruction given the first minute of class. they do not teach, they act simply as class supervision. many male teachers have made inappropriate comments about female students, some are even touchy. two teacher who instruct their class together are consistent in their method of teaching, which is to mock, degrade, & sometimes make vulgar comments about their students throughout the entire class session which aren't worth repeating. it was exhausting to listen to their belittling commentary daily. in one of my classes i sent a picture to my mom of the work we were receiving which was at the level of early elementary. i felt frustrated as my education seemed to be un-nurtured & last priority to the school.2. on my first day of a class, i walked into a complete dead silent room with students on computers & had to ask the teacher for instructions myself because he was clearly not going to give them. after he gave me a rundown of what we were expected to be doing, i walked back to my desk where i had trouble getting logged in, when i walked back to him, he rudely insisted i stand 5ft away from him, (we both wear wearing mask) to which i respected , he then told me to go back to my desk, i let him know i couldn't sign into his course because i didn't know my password, he then repeated for me to go back to my desk & begin the assessment, to which i respectfully responded "i can't sign in if i don't know my password", he then replied "maybe you should go to the counselor & discuss with her a class that better suits you" i was very confused, but said nothing & just found myself walking to the counselors office to get a schedule change as his class was obviously not one worth fighting for.3. the dress code is very loosely enforced, & it's clear boys do not get dress coded at all, petite girls can wear whatever they want, & curvier girls are dress coded almost to the point of harassment. i was dress coded for wearing a burgundy t-shirt, as it's "not school colors" as students in all types of colors walked pass me , & girls in mini cocktail dresses walked around completed unbothered by staff. i was also sent home by a very angry woman staff member before 1st period even began because my shoulders weren't completely covered, i was followed by many (only female)staff to be harassed about my clothing over the slightest silver of skin, while other (petite of course)girls seemed to be just fine in crop tops & even mini skirts.4. as i was walking in the halls back to my classroom after using the restroom, i was stopped by a male security guard, who i was then escorted by to the principals office. they insisted on searching my belongings & insisted i was high on drugs!! the principal became very quickly enraged & began screaming at me, saying he "knew" i was high because my eyes were red, when they weren't in the slightest & i was completely sober. the security guard was in the corner of the room staying completely silent as the principal spewed out accusations he knew weren't truthful. the principal called my parents stating i was "caught smoking in the bathroom" & became more enraged as i defended myself. they then tried gaslighting me into giving up on what was the truth, & when i didn't budge they sent me to the nurses office insisting i get my vitals checked, to which i refused until my parents showed up. once my parents showed up, the principal asked permission to send me to a facility to get my vitals checked where i could not refuse, & when my parents asked if they could just take me home, the principal said i would be suspended for a couple days for no valid reason. i took the suspension over the criminal charges they were threatening  to give me as the principal wanted me sent to a juvenile detention center.5. the restrooms were always locked with only 2 ever being available.6. after 99% of classes had been dismissed at the end of the school day, i walked to my friends class to where i met a teacher pacing the front of the closed class door like a prison guard, he told me he doesn't dismiss his class until after the very last second of dismissal. the entire class was waiting by the door & when he thought he heard the door handle move(it didn't), he was quick to open it & tell his students to stand away from the door & then told me "they know better" as i waited. he gave me the absolute most controlling creep v
