The food was so good! I had diri djondjon, griyo, and fried plantains. I also tried the mango lemonade! Everything was delicious and I would order again. I highly recommend Edit: I had a very good experience the first (and only) time I ordered food with BNB. However, I had an uncomfortable experience when I tried ordering food for a Christmas party my friend and I were throwing together. The first time I ordered food, I had asked for a quote for the rice and griot for a half platter and full platter. This was around Nov. 21/22nd. I was given a quote for: $70 for 12x10x2.5 Griot that came with the quart of pikliz and half quart of pikliz zonyon and $78 for 20x24 diri djondjon that came with 8x8 pan fried plantains and 8x8 pan side salad. Then I reached out again on Nov 28/29 to confirm that Id like to proceed with the order and was informed on the 30th that the cost of the griot (including pikliz and pikliz zonyon) had gone up to $75 and the rice (including 8x8 plantains, 8x8 salad, and sauce) had gone up to $80 due to produce price increasing. To be honest, it made me a bit uncomfortable being informed that the cost had all of a sudden changed as there was no disclaimer or heads up that the cost could change when I initially requested the quote. I had also asked if the initial quote could be honored but was told no. So I decided Id moved past that feeling and I went ahead and confirmed that I wanted to place the order. But then, when when I confirmed that Id place my order and send the money later that same evening (Nov. 30th), next thing I knew, I was being informed that actually, there was an increase in cost for all the sides and that none of the sides were included anymore. The plantains were now going to be $15, the pikliz were going to be $10 for a quart and $5 for a half quart and the salad $10. I pointed out the fact that I had literally, both the week prior and then again, just a few messages ago- on the same day- been informed that these items were included in the $75 and $80 price increases. The response I got back was that she was occupied and absent minded when she was confirming my order so itd been an error on her part when she gave me the new quote. Needless to say, I didnt move forward with my order. At that point, I became very uncomfortable due to the number of price changes in a short period of time, let alone, within the same conversation. It just felt sketchy and unprofessional. I was sad since I had really really been looking forward to introducing a lot of my friends to Haitian food since I have yet to come across other options in Austin. I was already going to be making the Haitian Mac and cheese and my friend was going to be making Jamaican jerk chicken. We ended up placing orders for predominantly Jamaican cuisine for the party which fortunately worked out. The food was delicious (though I was still sad about how we had to switch things up due to how the Haitian business was run). Im from south Florida and am used to ordering from Haitian businesses. Ive never come across a situation like this before where the quotes changed so much though I know it is an experience that some people have. Hopefully, more Haitians can have opportunities in the future to open up their businesses in Austin because our food is soooo good! As poor as the business ended up being run with BNB for me, I still will acknowledge that the food was seriously delicious- all the more reason I was looking forward to introducing it to friends and ordering from her in the future. I know this is a long review but want people to know my experience in case they are considering ordering larger amounts of food.

The food is good, however it is very pricey for take out...Information regarding hours of operations, and pickup time can be communicated better.
