I had to replace a tire due to inspection failure. It took the shop 45 minutes. Great service. I didn't feel like they were trying to oversell parts - like some shops do. Prices are affordable and customer service is pleasant. I recommend.

In traveling from Louisiana back to Texas on Mother's Day weekend, I managed to get a 3 inch long metal object lodged into my rear driver's side tire. As a result, the tire blew out on the highway with my mother, daughter and granddaughter in the car with me. I was able to safely stop and get roadside assistance. Unfortunately, my 7 year old spare tire began leaking around the stem after it was put on and would soon deflate. I knew that I would have to either address the tire issue or have my car towed the 70 mile remainder of my trip.
Two months prior to that day, I'd purchased 4 new tires from my local Discount Tire. I'd paid extra for insurance coverage on the set, but I couldn't have begun to fathom the value of that coverage plan. On a Saturday afternoon 5 minutes before closing time for the Discount Tire on Spencer Highway in Pasadena, Texas, I frantically called for help. Although I was more than 10 minutes away, the person who answered assured me that someone would be available and ready to assist. I made it there around 5:20 pm. Indeed, there was someone awaiting my arrival. They surveyed the damage to my tire and presented me with a few options for replacement because the destruction was beyond repair. After paying the $21.00 insurance deductible, I drove away with a completely new tire and the peaceful assurance that my family and I would make it home safely. Thank you to all of the awesome people who generously gave their time and assistance. I'm a Discount Tire customer for life.
