        The staff are just wonderful, and Dr. O'Bryan is amazing with my dogs. My dogs are terrified of the vets office, He immediately sat on the floor and just talked to them while holding them till they totally calmed down. I've never encountered a vet like this before, Amazing.

        Well if you worked for free I would still have 500 dollars and I would not have been willing to pay 700 for emergency surgery that would have had to wait till the next day which I would have paid but you didn't even offer to take my dog and start her on IV fluids or IV meds over night after I said she wasn't keeping her pills down so remind me when I was expecting you to work for free

        If I could give a negative review, I would. The "receptionist" was the most uncaring person I ever met. I will never go there again, if I have a choice. Dr. Nottingham at Lamar Vet is great. So understanding. Great vet!!!!

      Mr. Colton, if we could work for free we would. Offering quality veterinary medicine and surgery takes some budgeting by every responsible pet parent. Your pets illness is severe and has been in need of care for quite some time. We quickly and accurately diagnosed their condition and gave you several treatment options and worked within your budget. We went well beyond what many practices do by offering you two choices for payment options and we put you in contact with a non-profit organization to help you pay for the necessary treatments. Since they agreed to help you in concert with our communication with them it is not a realistic expectation for us to prioritize your needs above all of our other patients at a moments notice. That's not fair. Furthermore, one of our technicians paid for a portion of your balance with their own money. I hope that you can establish a veterinary client patient relationship with a practice that can not only provide you with preventative care to avoid the situation you have encountered but can meet your unrealistic expectations. -Dr. O'Bryan

It is possible that you may not have established an intimate relationship with your actual veterinarian, or may be simply confused. We suggest you better familiarize yourself with your veterinarian which you may have had a less that ideal experience with and encourage you to establish an open dialogue to resolve your issues for the betterment of your pet.
