        I live in DFW, but was staying overnight in Paris for work and came down with a terrible cough and started losing my voice over the course of just a few hours. I knew something bad was coming on quick. It was after 5pm, and the options in Paris were limited. Quality Care ER was the best reviewed and closest place to me, so I headed over. I do have to say that I was very pleased with my experience here, from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. The facility is very clean and very well maintained. The front desk girl was extremely friendly and started my check-in while she simultaneously took me back to a room. It couldnt have been more than 3 or 4 minutes from the time I parked to when I was in a room with a nurse! All the nursing staff was super friendly, attentive and compassionate, as was the doctor. They had me in and out in under 30 minutes with prescriptions in hand, and the majority of that time was just waiting for the on-site lab to run my COVID/Flu/Strep tests. The only apprehension I have is that I dont know exactly what the visit will cost until after they bill my insurance. They did disclose that they bill as an out-of-network ER and not an Urgent Care, so Im fearing a pretty hefty bill for my short visit, but time will tell. Ill post an update if it ends up anything worth sharing for better or worse.
