Dr. Hensen is, without a doubt, the kindest, most compassionate, and most competent doctor Ive had the pleasure of knowing. In all my dealings with him, he has gone above and beyond my expectations. I would unhesitatingly recommend Dr. Hensen.

My child had been sick, running a fever and was having trouble with balance and hearing. I took him to Dr Hensen and was not impressed. They attempted to do a hearing test on him but the audiologist was clearly getting frustrated with my child. Mind you, he just turned 8 years old. One test she did claimed that my sons hearing was normal and he was basically just not trying in the booth. Ive never seen such an unprofessional environment. Seeing the DR was not any more helpful. He also claimed there were no visible issues or fluid in his ear. I asked numerous times of sinuses can lead to hearing issues, even temporarily. He said no. I know you can have ear pressure, which can make sounds distorted. The Dr assumed my son was responding to him and basically lying. It seems to my that my son was only agreeing or responding but that didnt mean he actually HEARD him. As a hard of hearing person myself, I can say that Ive agreed or responded at times, even when I didnt hear because I was too afraid to speak up and ask someone to repeat. As a specialist, I feel like he just blew us off and did not take us seriously. I dont appreciate the service we received. My son is still having hearing issues. Something we could have potentially remedied or had suggestions for at the appointment but here we are. Theyll take the money with no problem .
