        This place is great if you are looking for a family tent with mattresses up off the ground. It is not clamping like in the magazines with cowhide rugs and bedside lamps. It had recently rained so there was water by the door inside and the tent had not been swept out. Just a few leaves. The cabanas are nice with nice outdoor furniture, a bar, fire pit, picnic table, fan, light, and electricity. Everything is close together. 6 feet or so. We enjoy taking and sharing food with our neighbors - families with kids. Luck of the draw on who your neighbors will be. Or how loud they will be. Bathroom fine while we were there. The area is well lit so bring eye masks. There in early April - no bugs. Safety: There was no lock in our tent. Well lit.

        Sons Island Guadalupe was awesome. We spent Easter Sunday with the family and the guy working that Sunday was so nice and helpful. The bathroom/showers were so clean and the property was incredible. Will definitely be visiting again!

        Absolutely disappointed with management. I booked glamping for Easter weekend with included a cabana on their site. Reservation was confirmed and paid for, they emailed their rental agreement and waiver which was signed. Wr were excited and all packed up with what we would need for the weekend at the river just to find out after our 2 hour drive that there were no tents set up! I was livid. We had to get a hotel because we just couldn't force our 1 year old to sit in the car for much longer. Horrible experience

Sons is all about having fun and making the experience as easy and hassle free for you as possible. A Riverside Covered picnic table rental includes: picnic table, shade canopy, BBQ pit, comfortable wicker chairs and benches, river chairs, hammock and more! When you are ready to tube, hop on one of our shuttles, we will take you up rivers so you can float back down at your leisure to your covered picnic table.
