Charming hotel! What a bed and breakfast is supposed to be. Amazing eateries within walking distance. Super gracious and accommodating host. Really appreciate them!!

Fantastic location, incredible host, easy parking and our suite was perfect to use as a workspace. Steps from the courthouse and conveniently located near several restaurants. Highly recommend! Walkability: Great location for work requirements and several great dining options nearby.

We arrived on the 5th October in New Braunfels. We were looking for somewhere to stay. We came across the Schmitz Hotel. We went into the restaurant to ask if there were any rooms available. Jennifer the owner, showed us to an apartment that suited our needs perfectly. It was available because of a cancellation that day. We agreed a price which included breakfast in the restaurant below. Nothing was too much trouble. We had the best time and cannot thank you enough. Mrs & Mrs Read also Mr & Mrs Nurton. Rooms: Spacious Nearby activities: There were the caves which were amazing. Safety: Felt very safe. Walkability: Lots of places to walk too. Food & drinks: Lovely restaurants in close proximity. Noteworthy details: If you get the opportunity to stay here please do. Great value for money.

Awesome experience! Came with the family and had a blast. If you can stay here, do it. Worth every penny! Pet friendly as well. Great food and service in the restaurant too.
