If you come to the blueberry festival, youve got to get some blueberry pancakes! Its tradition at this point! This year they were $7 cash and $7.50 card. Located near the informational building in downtown Nacogdoches (nakuhdowchuhs).

My family and I drove 2 hours from Conroe yesterday to attend this festival. Have to say we were extremely disappointed. We arrived a little before 10 am and there were no fresh blueberries to be had. No jams, jellies etc. You could purchase a blueberry pie from Brookshire Brothers for $16.00. Only found 4 vendors selling blueberry baked goods. More business/political/church booths like at&t than handmade items for sell. The pie eating contest was stuck in a corner by the Brookshire Brothers booth and you couldn't even see it because there were so many people trying to crowd this very small table. The bands were excellent. The food was expensive. $7 for a cup of lemonade. Will not go again. Will stay local and pick our own. Crazy.
