What an awesome company, I needed help with my pool pump and Jason was able to come get it working and labeled all the lines so professionally. Would highly recommend these guys to anyone with a pool.

The team at "A Oasis" have been great. Starting from design phase, everyone has been receptive to my needs or concerns. The work crews are very friendly, and they make sure measurements and layout are correct. They keep in communication with the homeowner via BuilderTrend App and phone calls. If there are any hiccups during construction phases, they make sure to keep the homeowner up to date. I know they are on the higher cost spectrum; however, you get what you paid for.

We chose A Oasis because the design process was low pressure, the designer listened to our needs and helped us create something within our budget and our wants. However, from dig to fill our project was poorly executed. We had little to no communication outside of the calendar on the app which was frequently wrong about what to expect. Our concrete around our pool was horrendous and had to be refinished. Our coping tile was cut incorrect, wrong tile ordered and had to be fully replaced. Our landscaping was done lazily and had to be redone, sod had to be redone multiple times. The abuse our backyard took was appalling, trash everywhere, cigarette butts in the pool, destroyed sod for no reason. The communication was horrible. Our PM was changed mid job and we only found out because the original PM texted us saying he wasnt working there anymore. We have so many false promises of people getting us answers and communicating to us on deadline that passed without a word from anyone. The women we worked with on this job saved us from pulling all our hair out and the warranty department has helped us fix all outstanding punch list items but it took months and even the warranty department admitted the way the project was handled was embarrassing. We did not pass final inspection for basic things that the pool company should have done right the first time like the gate which had to be rebuilt twice. We have yet to been contacted by anyone at upper management about our experience. This isnt a small ticket item to have such poor communication. I do not recommend using this company for one of the largest purchases you will make.

This is a difficult review to write because in the end we got most of what we ordered, but it was incredibly painful to get there and the experience was very disappointing over many, many months of serious issues in mismanaging our project. Aoasis came highly recommended and reviewed, and our initial consultation was positive - fun even. However, when we got into the work there was problem after problem. First, our masonry was not ordered on time and we were forced to use another product we did not choose (and for which no cost difference was received or credited) even then what we got was wrong (had to literally rip it out) and then it was not installed correctly in many places. Then the landscaping was not done correctly (giant pile of dirt for plants instead of digging a hole...) then the salted concrete was absolutely done incorrectly and was left stained and cracked immediately to the point that the contractor had to resurface at great expense. I'm very concerned the concrete as a whole was defectively installed - time will tell and the photos, emails and documentation may some day end up in arbitration. Then, they killed a huge part of the yard that was not necessary despite our rapid communication about their laydown process, and again had to battle to get that grass replaced because it was not estimated correctly. In fairness, they did replace the grass but with a product that is not the same as the rest of the yard. Then, the coping tile was damaged, rough cut and just very poor quality. Then, the pipes that were just laid burst under pressure testing. Then, the builders did not properly reinforce the wood cabana structure and it almost blew over... Then, the electrical was not installed in the correct location. Only THEN, our project manager was finally fired after months of poor work and zero quality control (which was communicated to the ownership many times before this) , which led to months more re-work. I get that happens in construction, but when brought to the attention of the owner, managers and leads, absolutely no one came to our rescue for months in an adequate way. To this day, the owner Charlie has not responded to any of our dozens of messages, emails and calls. Not one thank you for your business, not one sorry for the issues you experienced. Not one, we failed you and here's why it happened. There was no communication at any step of the way in the way that you deserve when spending six figures on a dream back yard. There were promises to help, eventually, and someone finally did connect with us for direct responses and fixed most issues. But even that has reverted back to minimal communication, no planning and no urgency. It was SO painful and stressful and took 3-4 times longer than promised to deliver this work - and truthfully it is not 100% right but it's what I'm going to get at this point. My biggest issue here is that this company promised a lot, and did not deliver against very basic expectations or timeliness and communication. I would, unfortunately, never wish this process on my enemy. It's not good business, not acceptable to treat customers like a rotating door of cash payments, and not OK not to communicate. Please be cautious if selecting this company, and I hope my experience is isolated - but I will warn you that the way upper management handled our project is very telling of their overall business process. All I really wanted was for them to be responsive, honest, timely and appreciate my business. I didn't really get any of that. If they respond to this review, it would honestly be more responsive than we have received in the last six months. Update: I increased to two stars to be fair. We do have a pool and cabana. But Im still deeply disappointed in how this all went down.
