My son saw Dr. Reyes for the first time yesterday and had the best experience. My son was very nervous, but Dr Reyes found many ways to connect with him and ease the pressure of the appointment. He was extremely personable and took the time to address any concerns I had. We had a negative experience with the Dr at Morning Star Pediatrics and was very nervous for the well child checkup. When we left the office my son said "I really like him" that means a lot coming from a 10 year old! thank you Dr Reyes for making us feel comfortable and in the best hands! We found our forever pediatrician!

When we first moved into the area, over 7 years ago, we searched far and wide for a pediatrician who espoused excellence and whose interpersonal skills were equally stellar. Dr. Paul H. Reyes' name repeatedly came up during our search. Dr. Reyes is highly intelligent, and has a wonderful down-to-earth relationship with his patients and their parents. We are impressed that he has maintained a good rapport with our teen children since their elementary school years. Judging from his waiting rooms, other teen patients also value him, and he is equally popular with parents of newborns and toddlers. We appreciate that he has a well-patient waiting room, a sick-patient waiting room, and there is even a waiting room for newborns. His establishment is pristine, well-organized, cheerful, and modern in design. The state-of-the-art technological amenities make for a pleasant and well-coordinated patient visit. Last, but not least, his staff has always been professional, efficient, intelligent, and friendly. Though we have to travel a bit far to reach Dr. Reyes' office, the stellar service our children receive makes the travel absolutely well-worth it! Ultimately, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Paul Reyes of Lone Star Pediatrics!

Absolutely has not helped my child at all, good luck to those whom believe in this practice. Scare tactics only make them more money, keep that in mind.

Front office staff was okay somewhat friendly and the office is a nice setup with separate waiting rooms for sick/ health patients. Be prepared to wait in the waiting room and the doctors office for at least 30 mins. After meeting with Dr. Reyes although he was recommended to me I most likely will not return. During the visit it was very upsetting that I wasnt notified that the male doctor would touch my childs genital area and did so WITHOUT using gloves nor did he wear the normal white coat. How can an establishment require facial mask (which I dont mind wearing) but the Doctors there dont even use protective wear when touching patients? Thats just unprofessional, gross and unsanitary!!! His focus is too much on trying to finding out the personal lifestyles of the parents instead of focusing on the pediatric patients. The visit was unpleasant to say the least. Whats the purpose of filling out a new patient form along with transferring information from the previous PCP with the patients medical history if the doctor/staff neglects to read the information? This particular doctor does what he wants instead of what the parents feel is best for their child. Doctors like this tend to think that just because they have a (Dr.) in front of their name that allows them to be a know it all with a snarky attitude. Dr. Reyes demeanor is I dont care which isnt the way he should act especially since hes in a position where his main business is providing customer service as a doctor. Never again will I allow my insurance to pay for a doctor like him. If he doesnt know now there are plenty of pediatricians/ family doctors that are willing to provide better service than him. I quote Dr. Reyes theres several good doctors in areas near you. This was said during my visit with the doctor. Since Dr. Reyes is responding most people get medication before a illness occurs not after its too late to do anything or things get worse. Being a doctor I would think you would know that illnesses can occur in children when you least expect it. Its better to be prepare than sorry later. I would rather have a fighting chance than no chance at all. The ongoing allergy prescription was already in my childs chart for several years If you were an actual detailed doctor who read the chart that was transferred to your office because it was requested had the patient information and medical history you wouldve seen that from his previous PCP. However, you recommended over the counter medication when my child has severe allergies. Also, this visit was an Annual meaning its usually a full examination not a 15 minute review of the PARENTS LIFESTYLE after waiting 30 minutes in your the office. I didnt request a referral that was your suggestion. I didnt agree nor did I say I was scheduling an appointment. A person can listen to an individual thoughts and still make a better judgment by getting a second opinion. Most of the information stated during the visit I found from a google search my insurance didnt need to pay for a consultation from a doctor who was unsanitary especially with Covid still present in America completed a physical exam. Im sure the medical board would love to hear how you didnt use gloves on my childs genital area after touching other items within your office, which in your current response doesnt acknowledge therefore I wonder who is really trying to deceive future patients/parents? Best of luck to this business moving forward youll definitely need it with the mindset of Dr. Reyes.

Business Response on Google Apr 4th, 2023
Upon entering our office, the nurse asked why our office was chosen.Response was "I left my last pediatrician b/c he/she would write an antibiotic I wanted."I often do not respond to these reviews, but most of this information is false.I was asked to prescribe a medication for "when I need them", not for a current issue. This encounter was for a check up which does entail a full examination as this was a new visit.Upon departure from the office, I provided a referral for a specialist for a physical exam finding which concerned me. I explained that there is a specialist I would like to refer which was agreed upon.Never did I ever say that "there's several good doctors in areas near you". This was in relation to the specialist I would refer for further evaluation. So take this review with caution as there are many fallacies in it.~~Paul Reyes MD
