I have been trying to get my homestead exemption. The first time they said my signature wasnt fully visible, then I had to restart the whole process. Now they requested a copy of my marriage certificate. I provided as soon as they asked for it and my application has not moved. I called them today to check the status and the woman who answered the phone said our systems will be down for 2 weeks. My house payment has gone up $500 per month I. The last 2 years because of this. Imagine if when they called to get my property tax payment I said my bank account wont be available for 2 weeks sorry. Why is it that the cost on everything has gone up so much but the service is absolutely terrible. It makes me so furious that you have to jump through so many hoops and when you call for an update they cant even give that to you. Watch when it comes time for them to make a decision, they will say I need something else and make me start again.

The CCAD is an exemplary place to work. I was a seasonal employee during the protest season and was immediately struck by my incredible co-workers. They are an exceedingly kind-hearted staff whos compassion shines through in every interaction, not only with their employees but with every customer they handle. The environment is not only welcoming but also well-organized, thanks to the amazing leadership of Tina and Stephanie. They were the driving force behind protest season and pillars of support for me personally. Their encouragement empowered me to excel and put my best foot forward throughout the whole summer. The experience I had there was so meaningful and valuable that Im coming back this summer again to help with protest season.

Secretary/phone answer person REFUSES to do transfers to appraiser or supervisor for residential appraiser office and keep you on hold until you give up.Cell phone listed for Collin CAD and reason for my call was property listed with 12 acre because COLIN CAD NEVER disclosed lot size N/A and when I called was informed it's less than 1 acre less like 1000sf or 12 0 she couldn't answer that so I asked why don't they require servay at closing but still on hold for ANY appraiser...15 min and counting so that is why we have review and that is why you should IMPROVE YOUR BUSINESS based on property taxes taken from owners.We are your payments of your job that you provide for us.I was just informed that they don't provide lot size like REST of Rockwall, Dallas or Tarrant county it's based on area golf course shopping etc and size lot next door bigger than small that one in question.So take your Servay seriously since that is ONLY way to know what you buying.I told him agent listed at 12 acre he said that is not his business..lol
