I called Borders Masonry to replace brick that was removed from the exterior kitchen walls when the plumber replaced the old iron pipes in my house. Jerry requested photos of the area in order to see if he could match the brick. He had an exact match, said he could do the work that day, and quoted a very reasonable price. Elias came out within an hour, worked quickly, and did a perfect job. Jerry accepts several different forms of payment for your convenience. Jerry is very personable, professional, and easy to work with.

I called Jerry out to quote me on some masonry work. He explained he can also do landscaping. I had him out to bid on a project. I had a friend there with me to better understand and ask questions. He spoke in riddles and couldnt give me straight answers. I asked him what kind of drains he would use and he told me he didnt know what they are called. I wanted to move forward with him because he gave me a decent price, but I couldnt nail down concrete answers. He came out again to explain things to me and this time my father was there. They didnt feel confident he knew what he doing with the backyard so we decided to pause and get more opinions. When we asked if he would match a quote his response was so inappropriate. I am a woman who bought my house by myself (without any help from my dad, etc). And his response felt very sexist. When asked if he would match the other contractors price he said No ma'am. I will give you some free advice however. Just let your father contract everything. That way you're not wasting contractors time and breaking agreements. I explained we never had a contract or agreement. That is part of the job is bidding. I explained it was an unprofessional and sexist response to which he said And it's not a matter of sexism at all, it's just better if your father is going to run things to let him run things and stay out of the way. Since you're a grown woman that's your decision. Anyway have a good day I am appalled a man would speak to a woman like that. He will never have my business.

I called several masonry contractors and Borders Masonry were the only ones that answered on the first call or even answered there phones. I sent Jerry a pic of the damaged brick done by a car between two garage doors. Jerry gave me an estimate and said he could do repairs the next day. Masonry job was done professionally, promptly, job site left clean and garage doors operating perfectly. Jerry and his associates were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I would strongly recommend Borders Masonry for any masonry work you need done.
