If you are going for an MRI I would highly advise to look elsewhere. I got 3 MRIs done here. One for my neck, and both of my knees. The entire process was good, and the customer service was great. They were kind and accommodating. My insurance did not cover this visit so I ended up paying close to $1,000 for my MRI images. Once I got the images, I took my CD to my Orthopedic surgeon to take a look at the results. My Ortho was unable to read the images due to lack of quality of the images. I also took my CD to my PCP as well as my DPT for their opinion. All 3 doctors told me that the images were such low quality that they were unable to give me an accurate reading. I reached out to OPEN MRI NORTHGATE and explained the situation to the receptionist. She said she would relay the message to the manager Lily Garcia and that she would contact me back. One week went by and no call. I decided to call again and was given the same response. That they would let the office manager Lily Garcia know and that she would call me back. I did not receive a call back until I called for a third time today. Once I was finally able to get Lily Garcia on the phone, she said she has been so busy that she was not able to contact me back. May be an issue with time management skills given that it took her over 2 weeks to make a phone call. At OPEN MRI NORTHGATE, their motto, according to their messages they have you listen to while they place you on hold, state that OPEN MRI NORTHGATE provides the highest quality imaging with detailed and accurate images. 3 different doctors were unable to read the images OPEN MRI NORTHGATE provided. I explained this to Lily Garcia and she stated that the owner said that since she provided to me a service that it was nonrefundable. I agree, a service was provided but not to the standards that OPEN MRI NORTHGATE states they do. I hope to give a warning to anybody that is in need of an MRI to avoid this center. Truly is a shame how poorly the situation was handled. 100% Scammed

Nobody explains anything to you, as far as what to do and not to do, or how long the mri will take. What areas are they imagining etc. You dont get the opportunity to voice any concerns, everybody from the front to the people doing the M.R.I.s are just going through the motions.

This place sucks they take insurance BUT not for MRI of the abdomen DONT WASTE YOUR TIME with this place !!! If I could give them 0 stars I would .

So I get 4-5 phone calls a day just to confirm my appt. I work in Harlingen and have to drive to McAllen and get a phone call at 4pm if I can get here sooner. My appt is at 6pm. I rush to get over here ASAP from Harlingen to McAllen with all the construction and still mange to make it there by 5pm. I go to the front desk to register and the receptionist says mam youre an hour early. Im like hello you all call me 5x a day and call to me be here as soon as I can and youre telling me an hour early.. NOT TODAY SATAN NOT TODAY! SHE STILL MADE ME WAIT!

7pm and Im still waiting in the lobby!!!!! So my appt was at 6pm, THEY MADE ME WAIT LONGER!!!!!!!
