Saltgrass Lodge owner Captain Kenny Hauff has assembled the complete package for an outstanding fishing outing. I've been going to the Saltgrass for many, many years and Captain Kenny has never disappointed. The Saltgrass accommodations are super comfortable and create a relaxing atmosphere to relive the day's fishing adventures. And speaking of fishing, there are few who know the waters of Matagorda Bay better than Captain Kenny who will put you on the fish. Looking forward to our next trip to the Saltgrass!

Called Ken for a trip this morning after our original guide basically canceled on us. Ken was at the dock with in the hour and had us fishing within 10 min and knows where to catch them. We will definitely be booking with him anytime we go to Matagorda.

Great lodge, great guides, good food, we limited out on reds and a caught a variety of other species including trout, drum, flounder. Also caught stingrays and gar, including a 6 foot gar, it was a good fight.
