I have to say I was blessed to come across this perfect place to stay. It was acomindateing to my dog and the needs we needed to have for a perfect night's stay. It was great to have stayed here. Thank you Westwood Inn. Especially an awesome thank you to Callie

The description of this motel is way off. You have to travel a bit to get to the public beach (Heads up, you must have a beach permit for your vehicle if you want to drive on the beach.) The motel is right on the Hwy so you could hear traffic all night which is annoying for a light sleeper. There were sugar ants on the bedside table! They were constantly crawling all over it. The caulking in the tub/shower was hanging off. When we got there no one was in the office it was locked we had to call for service to check in. When we returned from. The beach again no one in the office to get towels they only had 2 in the room. When we checked out the next morning again. Had to ring the bell for service! At least the coffee was hot. I will say the beds were comfortable, the refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot in the room were clean. As was the rest of the room and they have Roku TV. The deck outside does not appear like it does in the pictures. The furniture is missing cushions and they are dirty. Overall this was a major disappointment! Even for the off season! They need to do better with advertising and get rid of the ants!

Place was okay. No shampoo or anything in the room. Brown stains on the blankets and breakfast was a joke. But once the room cooled off about 1 1/2 hours later, we at least got to sleep.
