this is a review of Randy Shankle's remarkable book THE MERISMOS. I found a copy on Amazon. The book was recommended to me by a Pentecostal person and I found his analysis of the need for Spirit to watch over and control the "soul man" to be helpful. I recommend his description of the difference between the selfish, self centered soul and the spirit that is concerned for the welfare of others. If you can find the book, it is worth time to understand Randy's terminology. Here is a quote : Say this to your soul. "I am dethroning you now. You have done what you wanted to do, thought what you wanted to think and imagined all kinds of imaginations. You have made excuses for your life. Now you have just come to an end. The spirit man is going to rule your lie. I will no longer preserve you or defend you. I will make you stand before God completely exposed." Any time that I begin to see soulish inclinations in myself, I put the soul where he belongs. " God wants us to no longer be independent. he wants us to serve the spirit man and no longer move independently of God. My spirit has the authority over my soul." (This comes from page 56-57). I hope you get the idea. Randy points out that we are not killing or crucifying the soul. We are simply "reckon ourselves dead", meaning that we are no longer independent. His prayer goes like this (from page 61): "Father I come before You and repent of the selfish egotistical, arrogant, prideful boastful domineering and commanding attitudes. I am asking you to forgive me where I have chosen my own life and lived doing what I wanted to do. I now confess Jesus as my Lord. From now on, I go to Your Word that is spirit and life. I accept you Word. I life with Christ in me, the life of the spirit. I will be led by Your Spirit. I begin to align myself by the order of spirit, soul and body. My soul is subservient and my body is just a carrier of the things of God. in Jesus' name, Amen." I hope this prayer helps young people. I am 60 years old and I could have used this prayer forty years ago. Thank you to my Pentecostal friend who shared this book's title with me.

Strongs/3091. In YEHOWSHUA Ha Moshiach a full circle has come. The character and reliability of scripture taught at CIM enables one to rightly divide the word of truth/emet. In this new age where most men of YHWH compromise the word/substitute, it is refreshing to experience and taste/represent the uncompromising message brought forth from this house of Jacob. Hebrews 4:12 and the UNDERSTANDING OF THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT found in Genesis chapter 12 and 15 has changed the playing field SO much that with the practical applications of the merismos, one can and will arrive towards a kingdom perspective ONLY if one has oversight of their own soul. Long live the life/ZOE of the Malki Tzedik Priesthood that has COME forth as of TODAY/Exodus 19 - 24:11; I honor your endurance, patience, and steadfastness in the faith of Yahuwah Elohim. May you be like Ephraim and Manasseh! Thank you Randy Shankle!
