Rooms could've been cleaner.

We stayed there during the big totality eclipse, and we understand that spending $1286 (a ridiculous amount of money for such a place) is because of the demand. Our rooms floor was cleaned possibly a year ago! The attached image is from a towel I used to walk in from the bath to the bed after the shower. Seriously! The swimming pool had bird droppings inside the hot tub, and the entire bottom of the pool looked like it had been cleaned months ago. The internet was the slowest thing we have experienced in a decade, but again, due to demand, I would credit them that they did not expect such a surge of people. Dear Management, Next time you charge 4-star hotel pricing for your motel, please clean the floors in the rooms and at least call the pool maintenance to tidy up! The personnel were friendly and kind; this is Texas, after all! Rooms: Room floors were disgusting dirty, see attached image!

Dirty and loud. Will not go back there.

Literally had a RAT on a glue trap in our room! Period blood stains on sheets. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
