What a difference Chala Sports & Family Chiropractic has made in my life! From severe back pain & trouble walking, to pain relief & improved ability to walk without pain! Dr. Colin Chala truly cares about his patients. He told me the truth about things I could do to help myself heal too. The water-filled pillows they sell are life-changing! Dr. Chala seeks out the latest & best absorbed nutrients to benefit your bone health- so important as women get into their 30s- 90s! Staff is welcoming & efficient. Im so grateful to have found this incredible facility that can truly provide the medical help that I needed.

I came to Dr. Chala after I was injured in a car accident. I'm sad to say that Dr Chala has shown me he is dishonest and doesn't genuinely want to help car accident patients but just wants the money. He did not believe I was truly in pain because at the end of the treatment plan he asked me my level of pain on a scale of 1 to 10. I said 6 but he corrected me and told me no I think 2 is more accurate now that your care plan is ending and I have done a great job. I couldn't even sleep on a regular pillow because of neck pain and this was over 6 months after the accident. I was shocked to learn that they billed me almost $4,000. After I learned how much I was getting charged per visit(sometimes hundreds more than cash price), I asked if they will do a discount. She said yes so I continued my care plan instead of paying cash but when it was time to pay the bill no discount was honored. I attached a picture of my bill for proof but Dr. Chala contacted Google to have it removed. They also charged me for services i didn't recieve. For example, I requested one hour of message therapy($60) but they told me they could only begin with 30 minute($40) on the care plan. But they billed one hour and charged 70 instead of the usual rate of 60 plus I always tipped the therapist $10 cash every time($80 total). By February 12th After my care plan ended I continued going because i was still in pain but I was now a cash customer. I had not yet recieved the bill for the care plan or learned of the astronomical prices they had been charging me or the many errors they would be unwilling to reimburse. Unbeknownst to me, the staff became confused and continued adding my cash visits to the charged care plan that they hadn't billed me for yet. Unfortunately, I didn't learn this until after I paid the $4,000 charged care plan bill. When I questioned a staff member she said she will not refund the 2nd duplicate charges of $40 + $67 even when I had proof of full cash payment for the first correct amounts of $40 paid in full at time of service separately from the big care plan charge. They only agreed to refund the first $40 charge but never did. So Dr. Chala profited $67 from each of their mistakes.(no refund ever given). When I brought the bill's many discrepancies to their attention I was put in a private room. Dr. Chala walked in angrily accusing me of being there only because I wasn't given a discount. In a way it's true, if I had been given any discount I would not care so much about the $400 errors but I was there for an honest refund of services not recieved. "Cash is king" was his saying. I have never recieved any refunds not even for a $40 or $67 duplicate. Also, I was charged $45 each for five EMS services that I did not recieve. I own 2 of my own EMS machines that were $1,250 each so after a couple of the in-office treatments, I quit my prescribed treatments after I realized there was no point in paying extra to recieve the same treatment I can do at home but I was charged for the treatment plan anyway and never given a refund. Finally, I was charged $70 twice for one hour massages when I actually recieved 30 minute massages that are $35. I even requested hour long but they said No they could only begin with 30 minute sessions and then later I was granted one-hour massages. When I got the bill I was charged $70 for EVERY massage. I tipped cash at the time of service. When I brought the bill's discrepancies to their attention I was put in a private room. When Dr. Chala came in he immediately angrily accused me of being there only because I wasn't given a discount. In a way it's true, if I had been given any discount I would not care so much about the $400. I have never recieved any refunds not even for a $40 or $67 or $70 duplicate.

I can't say enough good things about how helpful Dr. Chala has been. I started seeing Dr. Chala due to some discomfort in my lower back / hip area. Even though that's what I felt, I was wrong about where the pain was coming from. Dr. Chala was able to quickly isolate where the discomfort was coming from. Sometimes we don't realize that our bodies are "off". Mine was "off" to where when I was standing straight, I was putting about 10 lbs of pressure on one side of my body compared to the other! That blows my mind! It's amazing what our body does to compensate for the daily grind sometimes without us knowing it. Dr. Chala created a plan to help adjust my body back to normal - without prescriptions or pain pills, etc. I prefer a more holistic approach to medicine and I believe the chiropractic approach provides a way for us to focus on our physical health and general well-being. After a few treatments I was back on track without any discomfort and feeling much better than what I thought was normal. I continue to see Dr. Chala for "adjustments" because I can definitely feel how it's improved the way my body physically functions. I highly recommend Dr. Chala to anyone needing a chiropractor but also anyone with minor discomfort because he could probably help you keep things from getting worse.
