Minnix is timely and concerned for their tenants from the moment you start your process of finding a place to live, and right down to the fine details of your deposits, giving you informal guidance for the energy choices in this newly unregulated electric market, and even giving their recommendations about the things to do and places to go to this new Lubbock resident. Immediate maintenance requests were worked quickly and professionally, which is a true breath of fresh air! I look forward to my long tenancy with Minnix!

I have been renting with Minnix for a year now and no problems. Anytime I need maintenance they are right on it. Anytime Ive a question/concern they are very understanding and reassuring. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to rent.

I notified Minnix of what Repairs I noticed needed to be completed upon completing the viewing of the property. The home smells of dog feces. There is dog feces in the downstairs basement of the unit. The front door know was chewed. The unit was left filthy although I told Minnix representative that I would like for it to be cleaned.

I dont know what the limit is so Im just gonna wing it. We are first time renters and we loved that Minnix did self tours. Its always hard to get ahold of anyone to view a property so being able to pick a time and date was convenient for us. That is the ONLY thing we love about them. It was hard to get ahold of them and ask questions BEFORE signing the lease (red flag that we clearly ignored.). When we picked up the key, we were given only one key (the property has a garage) and told to make a copy of the one and only key. Before we left we asked about the cable and internet that was provided in the lease.. got looked at like we were stupid. Clearly they dont read the lease. Dont know how thats working out for them. Get to the place it is gross. It honestly looked the same as when we viewed it. They had a month to clean. Guess thats not apart of renting? I dont know. The carpets were gross and they stunk while I was cleaning them. Oh, get to the place and the other key (pretty sure its standard to give two keys) and the two garage clickers were on the oven. Cool. We go to check everything locks and such. Our back door the bottom lock doesnt lock. Put into maintenance and was told thats done to keep us from locking each other out.. stupidest you know what Ive ever heard. They just didnt want to fix it. Guess well fix that ourselves. Had to tighten a couple of the locks because they wiggled. A robbers dream. Theres a back gate that leads to the back door.. they dont have a key to. Was told to leave it unlocked.. it locks on the inside too cant do that lmfao. Gave us no solution to that. We have the community mailbox (idk what they are called just know the one you go to with your key to get your dang mail) we asked for the key.. was told we had to pay for it ourselves and that they dont know the box number. Which I have never rented but I have never heard or seen that. Got previous tenant mail and package. Cant get ahold of anybody so they can call the dang people so they can get it. Whatever. It rained 4/9 and theres a leak from one of the lights. Love that for us too. Hadnt bothered with maintenance cause theyll cancel and never come out. OH OH the cable and internet thats in our lease? To be provided? Still havent gotten that. They keep giving us the run around. Oh itll be fixed this day and nothing. Or just flat out dont respond. We have to keep asking and pushing or we would never hear back. Never-mind the fact that they sent us to maintenance for it and they were confused on why they were even getting the request. I give maintenance slack for that but they arent good either. I would love it if I got updates to the issue considering I work from home and its putting me behind on money that pays the freaking rent. So all that shortened I do not recommend this place. I dont care for the generic message Im seeing under everybodys reviews. Yall dont respond anyways. Thats their thing. They dont respond. House is cute though. Congrats on doing that right.
