        I have been back in Lubbock for a couple months. Searching prayerfully for a home church. I had lots of recommendations from many people. As I looked each of these churches up, it was either too much this or not enough that. I am not a thrills and frills kinda Christian. I take God seriously and my faith. I love God's Word, and that should be where the focus lies. I found that at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Also I love the traditional hymns usually present in a Presbyterian church, but I also have secretly longed for maybe a more contemporary worship selection sometimes too. My best friend and I had discussed this at length and tried to envision what that would be like in reality. My first Sunday service here, I experienced just that!! A contemporary music selection! I was so stunned, I had to keep reminding myself to not just listen with my mouth open, but to join in!! I could barely believe my ears! I'm so thankful to God for leading me here! I'm excited what the future will hold for me here!!
