        It is disheartening when employees fail to show compassion and assist someone in need, especially when it involves an elderly person who is already vulnerable. IHOP, like any other commercial establishment, has a duty to ensure the safety and well-being of its customers. When a wet floor poses a risk, it is essential to take immediate action to prevent accidents. When the elderly man fell, employees should have promptly stopped what they were doing and rushed to his aid. His well-being should have been the top priority the injuries were serious, an employee should have called 911 immediately. The mans condition, especially considering he was on oxygen, required urgent attention. Employees should have informed a manager about the incident. The manager could have assessed the situation, ensured proper medical attention, and taken steps to prevent further accidents. It is disheartening that no employee walked the man out or checked on his well-being. Basic human compassion should prevail, especially when dealing with vulnerable individuals.
